Have disabled kid & have tried many Many bowls from those "specialty"catalogs. This bowl works the best of All! Scooping for her isn't a straight-on activity and more like stirring, but since the lip goes around the whole bowl, very little food escapes= less Mess! Since the suction is made from a dycem-like material, it remains in place better than other suction bowls I've had. Lid enables me to take to restaurants and carry bowl home w/o mess in my bag. Lots of intelligent thought behind this product.

Suction does the job - food doesn't go all over the place with my young toddler! Love the coordinating lid!!
